INFORMATION VS KNOWLEDGE

ARE YOU KNOWLEDGEABLE OR INFORMED? 

We are full of information and empty of knowledge.  

INFORMATION is discussing religion at shops,  in public transport and at tea stalls.  KNOWLEDGE is giving a speech on religion to a hall of scholars and giving convincing answers to their queries without getting angry.  

INFORMATION is playing Street cricket and KNOWLEDGE is playing international cricket.  

INFORMATION is reading Qur'an without being able to write a single sentence correctly in Arabic Language.  KNOWLEDGE is writing a TAFSEER of QUR'AN.  

INFORMATION is discussing things on social media and with illiterates in a local Lane and KNOWLEDGE  is WRITING the book, THE SOCIAL CONTRACT which changed the entire world. 

People like Leo Tolstoy and shakespeare represent KNOWLEDGE and people like ARNAB and Rahul represent INFORMATION.  

Information is temporary,  exciting,  ready-made,  common,  imitative and mind changing. Whereas knowledge is permanent, sober, creative, rare,  innovative and soul changing. 

For example : INFORMATION will say A for APPLE 🍎 But KNOWLEDGE says A for 

Acerola, 

Apple, 

Apricots, 

Avocado, 

Ant, 

Anteater, 

Antelope, 

Arctic Tern, 

Armadillo, 

Asian Elephant, 

Australian Brush-Turkey. 

INFORMATION will say Apple is just a fruit. 

KNOWLEDGE will explain Apple as  love, knowledge, wisdom, joy, death,  luxury, fertility, Breasts,  vulva, temptation original sin and what not.
