SORRY IS JUST A WORD [ a poem by SAHIL SHARIFDIN Ëñglísh]

I am a Muslim 

And I believe :

Killing one human being is 

Like killing the whole humankind.

But thanks to George Bush ;

Thanks to Tony Blair  

And thanks to all terrorists

Who murdered millions

In Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya 

For the vote banks 

And named me '' Terrorist '' . 

Thanks to the paid media 

That advertised this name . 

Thanks to the foolish people 

Who accept the words of the media 

Like the words of Bible . 

Was the killer of Lincoln a Muslim ? 

Was the killer of Gandhi a Muslim? 

Was the killer of Indra a Muslim ? 

Was the shooter in church mosque a muslim? 

Was Hitler a Muslim? 

Was Mussolini a Muslim?

Was Franco a Muslim ? 

The destroyers of Hiroshima and Nagasaki ?

Were they muslims?

The killers of Vietnamese?

Were they muslims?

The colonialists? the slave owners?

The crusaders ? The early USA settlers ?

Were they muslims? 

Osama was trained by America

To break the USSR .

when the job was done ,

Americans named him terrorist. 

Taliban were created , trained and used 

By America to invade the USSR .

when the job was done ,

They were named as terrorists.  

News channels have no truth .

They have only rumours . 

News reporters are just barkers.

They bark longer for the one 

Who throws at them more bread . 

Movies have propaganda. 

Truth lies in the pages of history. 

And history is not read by anyone. 

Tony Blair said , '' I am sorry '' 

After  ruining Iraq .

Sorry is just a word .

It can not resurrect sadam .

It can not resurrect Iraq . 

It can not convince the masses

That I am  a Muslim 

And not a terrorist. 

It can not stop attacks

On Hijab , beard and adhan .

It can not stop lynchings and mass shootings. 

Sorry is just a word .

It may win more vote banks.

But it can not win my heart .
