 Growing Islamophobia And The Role of Muslims

To begin with the veracity , a Muslim is not welcome to any non-muslim country today . The international media and the hostile forces to Islam have succeeded in their mission of alienating and isolating Muslims . The beard is no longer the beard but a token of being barbaric , savage and brutish . The veil or scarf is now  the sign of being primitive , uncivilised and backward . The call of minaret  is considered to be a war cry and  the Muslim cap is equated with the war helmet. The Muslim ladies are physically attacked in markets , elevators , ATM cabins , public transport and where not . The Muslim students are denied admissions at the world's best, schools ,  colleges  and universities. The muslim tourists don't get desired accommodations , hotels and restaurants . The international authorities feast their eyes at the pogrom and massacre of Muslims . The aggressive and belligerent nations invade Muslim countries one by one like a pack of wolves fall upon the sheep . The tragedy is that some muslims are too terrified to give their kids muslim names . They prefer western names   for their kids rather than traditional Muslim names . The Muslim community is now more like an endangered species on the planet . Islamophobia has permeated through the warp and woof of the global society . The sun of Islam is entangled in the darkest clouds in its history and the whole  earth is drenched with the warm blood of Muslims . The evil forces are bent upon wiping the muslim traces from the face of the earth and good forces are at a loss to make any rescue attempt.  The words of Altaf Hussain Hali rightly portray the picture of Muslims and Islam of today : 

Pusti Ka koi had se guzarna daikhe .

Islam Ka gir Kar na ubharna daikhe . 

Maane ne Kabhi ke madd hai har jazar Kay baad 

Darya Ka hamare Jo uttarna daikhe 

''Have a look at the transgressed degradation.

Have a look at the unstoppable fall of Islam .

None will ever believe that every ebb is not followed by a flow ,

After looking at the ever receding river of ours . ''

The Muslim youth and the lovers of humanity and truth need to understand  the concept of islamophobia. The term   'islamophobia' means 'fear of Islam ' . In a broader sense , islamophobia means the detestation, rancour , disgust , dislike , hate and animosity towards the religion of Islam and muslims. The patients of islamophobia seem to have engraved on their marble hearts that Islam promotes terrorism and violence . They employ every means at their disposal to malign and defame Islam .   Though the term 'islamophobia' was first used by  a few French  orientalists in the beginning of the 20th century [ before WW1] , yet it gained popularity in the beginning of 21st century [ After the so called 9/11] . The whole world is aware of it now and it is an open secret that Afghan Mujahideen [Taliban] were created , trained and used by America and her allies in 1970's-80's to break Soviet Union . When their purpose was fulfilled , they failed to disarm and disband the Mujahideen and they later renamed them as '' Islamic terrorists '' . However,  in a recent interview, Hilary Clinton accepted this bitter truth and called it  ' a big American blunder ' . She added that her country failed  miserably to deal properly with Afghan Mujahideen after the fall of Soviet Union.  If someone has time to search the videos of 1980's of American news channels on YouTube , he will be astonished to watch American news reporters and news readers  praising and glorifying the Afghan Mujahideen . How come the world forgets the faithful Muslims of yesterday ! How come the world   kills and torments the faithfuls of yesterday as traitors and terrorists today !  

The reason that the Muslims all across the world are at the trigger of some non-muslim nations is fundamentally that the Muslims are a growing geopolitical force and Islam is the fastest growing religion on the planet . They want to remain  strong  tomorrow also which is why they try to weaken the  muslims today . Islam is directly challenging their rotten civilization and ideals . Islam is against sodomy , live-in relationship, exploitation of women , exploitation of the poor , incest , usury , hedonism , nudity , births out of wedlock and Various things which form the very backbone of the western civilization . Western talk of women’s liberalization is nothing but a disguised form of exploitation of her body, degradation of her soul, and deprivation of her honour. Western society claims to have ‘uplifted’ women. On the contrary it has actually degraded them to the status of concubines, mistresses and society butterflies who are mere tools in the hands of pleasure seekers and sex marketers, hidden behind the colorful screen of ‘art’ and ‘culture’. If you search on the internet, you will find that over 60% of the kids in the USA are born out of wedlock . How come Islam accepts that ? And , how come they tolerate such a way of life !  Those who label Islam as a religion of terrorism must turn the pages of the recent history of the world and they should read who killed millions of humans beings in the world war 1 and the world war 2 ? Who killed civilian people of Hiroshima and Nagasaki ruthlessly? Who decimated Vietnamese? Who massacred in Iraq , Afghan , Libya , Syria etc ? 

The problem is that they sell us falsehood because we don't know the truth . Those of us who know the truth fear to speak it out . It is the duty of every muslim man and every muslim woman to learn the truth and spread it boldly . We must use mainstream media as well as social media to promote the truth . God has blessed us with social media and we can change our image in the world by using it . We must bring the real culprits before the world and dispel misconceptions about our religion , Islam . Go out and tell the world that Islam teaches that killing a human being is like killing the whole humankind and saving a human being is like saving the whole humankind.  Tell them that Islam wants its followers to treat women as queens , give them equal rights , give them share in inheritance and allow them to marry the men of their choice . Present the right and genuine image of the holy prophet of Islam . Tell them that he was the kindest , honest , most loving , most righteous,  most peaceful and most adorable person that the human eye has ever seen .  Remember the words of the bedouin woman who encountered  the holy prophet Muhammad (Pbuh ) first time in her life and share the selfsame words  with every breathing soul on the earth :

''I saw a man who is clearly handsome with a beautiful face. He is well-built, neither blemished by a big belly nor disfigured by an unusually small head. The pupils of his eyes are very dark, his eyelashes are very long and the area around the pupils is extremely white. His eyebrows are perfectly close. He has very dark hair, a rather long neck and a thick beard.

When he remains silent he is ever contemplative and when he speaks, eminence and splendor show in his words. His words are like sliding stringed pearls. He is a gifted orator whose words are neither too few nor too many. He has the clearest wand and the most audible voice as he speaks. When you look at him from afar, he is the most handsome of all people, and when you move closer to him, he is the most pleasant of them.

You will never be tired of looking at him. He is like a branch between two branches. He is the most handsome of the three and the most important of them. He has companions who honour him; when he speaks they listen to his words and when he commands they hasten to carry out his order. They serve and gather around him. He neither frowns or nags.” 

The British Nobel laureate , George Bernard Shaw has   really done justice with the person of the holy prophet Muhammad [Pbuh] and his peaceful religion , Islam . His sincere words will  conclude best this article , 

'' I have very carefully studied Islam and the life of its Prophet (PBUH). I have done so both as a student of history and as a critic. And I have come to conclusion that Muhammad (PBUH) was indeed a great man and a deliverer and benefactor of mankind which was till then writhing under the most agonising Pain. ''

 ''If any religion had the chance of ruling over England, nay Europe, within the next hundred years, it could be Islam. ... It is the only religion which appears to me to possess the assimilating capacity to changing phase of existence, which can make itself appeal to every age.'' 

Dear brothers and sisters in Islam , learn the truth of Islam , understand it and go out there to make others understand it before it is too late . Invite them to the light of Islam before they totally overpower you all and push  into the depths of darkness. Stand up for what you believe in . Stand up for the just cause . Stand up for yourselves.
